She Began Her Career as an Anchor, and Later on, Hello Tamizha was the name of the show that she hosted on Star Vijay. Her first film was the Tamil film Chennai 600028 (2007), which was directed by Venkat Prabhu. It was her first acting role. An other one of her acting credits includes the popular Tamil films Anjathe (2008), Adhe Neram Adhe Idam (2009), and Kattradhu Kalavu (2010).
She made her first appearance on television in the Tamil serial Nayaki, which aired on Sun TV. After some time, she decided to leave the programme, and Vidya Pradeep was brought in to take her place.
