Indian academic, fighter for food sovereignty and environmental protection, and author of a book on alternative models of globalisation Vandana Shiva. Her primary location at the moment is in Delhi. After that, she uprooted her life and relocated to Canada so that she could earn a master’s degree in the philosophy of science. Her work for a doctorate in philosophy was successful, and she was awarded the degree.In 1982, Vandana Shiva laid the groundwork for what would become the Research Foundation for Science, Technology, and Ecology. Navdanya was established in 1991 as a direct result of the establishment of this institution. The Navdanya movement is a nationwide initiative to protect the uniqueness and continuity of the world’s living resources.
