After that, she uprooted her life and relocated to Canada so that she could earn a master’s degree in the philosophy of science. Her work for a doctorate in philosophy was successful, and she was awarded the degree.In 1982, Vandana Shiva laid the groundwork for what would become the Research Foundation for Science, Technology, and Ecology. Navdanya was established in 1991 as a direct result of the establishment of this institution.
