He started his career on television in Doordarshan with the teleserial Gokulam Colony, and his second serial, Metti Oli on Sun TV was his career Breakthrough and earned him a name. In 2006, he made his debut in the Tamil film Em Magan, which starred Bharath in the lead role and was considered to be one of the best films released that year. After the critical and commercial success of Em Magan, he directed his second feature film, which was named Muniyandi Vilangial Moonramandu (2008) and starred Bharath. Then Nilavu, Kula Deivam, and Nadhaswaram are just a few of the well-known television serials in which he has served as a director.
