Jayalalithaa, claims in her appeal that a DNA test would confirm that she is the Jayalalithaa’s late sister Shylaja of the late CM J Jayalalithaa. Amrutha has made more than a simple assertion that she is Jayalalitha’s daughter. She has gone as far as requesting a DNA test by filing a writ suit with the Supreme Court of India in India. The late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s corpse was laid to rest in a cemetery rather than being cremated. And as a result, a DNA test can be carried out once the remains of the deceased corpse have been exhumed. According to the available documentation, the late CM had just one sibling, a brother by the name of Jayakumar. The assertion made by Shylaja and Amrutha was disproved by a large number of Jayalalitha’s close friends and family members. Amrutha also added that Jayalalithaa treated her like a daughter. She goes on to say that Jayalalithaa paid for her to become a member of the AIADMK, which she says was a gift from Jayalalithaa. However, when Amrutha sought to visit Apollo Hospital to see the late CM who had admitted for long days in Chennai last year, she was sent away by the security on Sasikala’s directions.
