Lipsika began her career as a singer when she was just 5 years old. She rose to prominence after taking part in the singing reality TV show Padutha Theeyaga, which was hosted by S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and was shown on Tamil television. Lipsika received training in Carnatic classical singing on a professional level. At Trinity College London, she received her Grade 5 certificate in western voices. She was a radio jockey (RJ) for Red FM 93.5 in Hyderabad, where she hosted a noon programme called Red Adda, which was one of the most well-liked shows in both of Telangana’s twin towns.
